Mercury Rising

Mercury is listed as one of the top six most poisonous metals on earth, with known human toxicity occurring at doses producing urine levels of 5 ug/L, or five millionths of one gram. Consider that a nickel weighs about 5 grams.

Take a wild guess what's been in vaccines and amalgam dental fillings for years....toxic mercury.

The primary source of human contamination is right there in your mouth — dental fillings composed of an amalgam of various metals, almost 50% of which is the metallic form of mercury. Second, until recently, were vaccines. Third is the contamination of fish by coal-burning plants and the run-off of pesticides and herbicides from farmlands into lakes and streams, and the natural pollution of the seas from the sea floor.

Because mercury is fat-soluble, it accumulates in the brain (60% fat) and other fat-containing tissue. Once in the brain, all forms (organic and vapor) are converted to the ionic form, which reacts with a number of important structures and chemicals in that vital organ. Mercury has been linked with the rise in autism, alzheimer's, lou gherig's disease and even heart failure. Be sure to ask your doctor for a test to see how much mercury is in your system and for ways to avoid further contamination.

Outliving Memory

Becoming forgetful or misplacing items has become an accepted part of getting old. Naturally, our mind is slowing down and memory seems to fade. You may not know, but there are ways to gain more control over your brain’s memory functions than you realize. While Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia continue to strike down victims at an unprecedented pace, you don’t need to surrender to the living hell of outliving your own memory. Especially when so much scientific evidence indicates that one major factor (totally within your control) demonstrates such a close link to your brain function

That factor? Your diet.

And it’s not just memory. Diet influences your behavior, your ability to concentrate, your IQ, even the potential to commit criminal or anti-social acts. There are simple strategies to add foods high in brain-boosting nutrient and avoid those serious brain-busters as well as increase your brain exercise. Learn more here about a healthy mind and sound memory.

You're Going Blind

Losing your eyesight can be one of the most devastating things to effect the quality of life. Even though you have five separate senses, 80% of the information you take in from the world is visual. Sadly, most people who endure blindness, suffer from very preventable conditions. You may already know that cataracts are due to a loss of elasticity in the lens of your eye, which particularly begins to creep up on you after the age of 50. Gradually, the lens (and your vision) becomes cloudy. Forget driving, golfing, reading, even watching TV clearly. And macular degeneration is especially debilitating, because it affects the most important part of your eyesight — the central sharp vision portion of your retina. The specialized nerve cells in the macula begin dying off, causing everything in the center of your vision to become blurred.
There is no treatment for the blindness caused by progressive macular degeneration.
Fortunately, you can reduce your risk of diminishing vision, eye surgery…and even blindness by following some natural recommendations. Read more here about preventing blindness.

Fat thats Good for You!

Contrary to the belief of many stick thin, disorder struck teens, fat is good for you! The RIGHT kind of fat. Omega-3 which is found in wild fish, some nuts and seeds is extremely beneficial to our health. Unfortunantly, it seems it has all but vanished from the average diet here in the U.S. and the lack of such nutrient is causeing some major problems. If you want to stay healthy, live longer, and avoid diseases like depression, brain disorders, heart problems, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, even cancer — you have to eat the RIGHT KIND of fat. Omega-3 can counteract your risk of stroke and heart disease, slash your risk of cancer, particularly of the prostate, colon and breast, outfight autoimmune and inflammatory diseases like rheumatoid, lupus, M.S. and psoriasis and even combat behavioral problems like ADHD, autism, even angry and violent behavior. Let's all still commit to avoiding the doughnuts but, when it comes to Omega-3, be sure to get a heaping serving!

Vaccination Dangers

Most people make the choice to vaccinate themselves and their families with their protection in mind, but what if you were actually causing them harm?! Many common vaccines can have devasting after effects that I believe all parents should be aware of. Growing evidence suggests that improved public health measures and nutrition — not vaccines — have led to a decline in infectious disease. In fact, according to NewsMax medical editor Dr. Russell Blaylock, those very vaccines you and your children endure "for your own good" may instead leave you hammered with; altered brain development, seizures and loss of brain cell connections. Instead of worrying about measles, mumps and chickenpox, better start thinking about Lou Gehrig's, Parkinson's and autism.

I really think this country has a problem relying on blind faith when it comes to our doctors. Truth is, there is so much information that many of them aren't sharing...we need to step up and get informed when it comes to our families.

Cholesterol Unrelated to Heart Attacks!

Heart attacks kill nearly a million Americans a year — rich and poor, the famous and the forgotten...Strokes kill over 160,000 a year...and often without warning...In fact, cardiovascular disease is so common that 64 million Americans suffer from some form of it (and 39 million of these folks are age 65 or younger)
So if you're worried, you should be.
And if you're not, you really should be.
After all, you've only got one heart.
Fact is, heart disease is the #1 killer in the United States

And unfortunately, the mere correlation between elevated cholesterol levels and the risk of heart attack and stroke has been the primary "evidence" to support the dietary cholesterol theory. In reality though, 50% of those who have heart attacks do NOT have elevated cholesterol and it's foolish for your doctor to insist that you take a dangerous statin drug if you have elevated cholesterol — even elevated LDL cholesterol!

Mammograms Increase Risk

Unfortunatly, Breast Cancer is one of the top risks concerning life for women. The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2005, about 211,240 women were diagnosed with breast cancer — and 40,410 died from the disease.

Most women depend upon that yearly mammogram to warn them of possible breast cancer. Yet, studies show mammograms actually increase your risk of developing breast cancer from 1-3% per year, depending on the technique used. Now that may not sound like a lot. However, if you religiously undergo a mammogram every year for 10 years, you increase your risk from 10-30% (and some radiation experts feel the danger is much higher than that).

Why? Because the breast is one of your body's most sensitive areas when it comes to cancers caused by radiation exposure.
